About
Boxtrack is a web application designed to help users efficiently manage and track physical storage boxes and their contents. The goal was to create a simple yet intelligent system that gives users full visibility into where their items are stored, how much space they’re using, and what’s inside each box. I worked on the app alongside a senior developer, who helped me improve my front-end development and UI skills.

The problem
Managing stored items across different boxes or locations can quickly become confusing and time-consuming. People often forget what they’ve stored, where they’ve placed it, and how much space remains. The original design displayed boxes in a simple list, making them difficult to identify at a glance. Without visuals or clear categories, finding specific items required extra time and effort.
The goal
The goal was to design a more intuitive and visually engaging way for users to manage and locate their stored items. By incorporating images, clear labels, categories, and a structured layout, the new design reduces search time, enhances clarity, and makes organizing storage both effortless and efficient.
The Result
The redesigned interface makes storing and finding items faster and more intuitive. Visual box previews, categories, and a flexible grid/list layout help users recognize and organize boxes at a glance. The dashboard now provides a clear overview of total boxes and items, supported by a visual usage graph and quick-access table. With the structured item view and built-in AI assistant for search and organization, BoxTrack feels lighter, more visual, and effortless to use.
